Full-featured evaluation environment. Most eSign Online functions are available during the trial; features that require separate set-up, such as eID verification and custom integrations, are not included.

### Are there any variable fees?

Yes. SMS and eIDs are charged as variable fees on top of the licence. Other features carry additional fees as add-ons, including Forms Builder and shareable links, bulk send, digital mailbox delivery, partner integrations, extended branding, and the Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics integrations.

### Does each signatory need a license?

No. Only the initiator of a contract needs a Scrive licence. Signatories can open, view and sign documents at no cost.

### Can we mix different price plans at the same company?

No. All users within one company have access to the same features, so the whole account sits on a single plan.

### Can we share one license at my company?

No. All licences are personal, and everyone who sends documents needs their own. Each user in eSign Online must be connected to a specific person for audit trail and data security reasons.

### Do I really need a license? I just want to send a few documents.

If you only have a few documents to sign, the 14-day free trial may be enough. To send documents after the trial ends, you need a licence.

### How many documents can I send?

Unlimited documents are included on all paid plans. The trial is limited to 10 documents.

### What is the notice period if I don't want to continue with Scrive?

You need to let Scrive know three months before your contract expires if you do not want to extend it.

### What are the main differences between the Essentials and Business plans?

Essentials provides the basic functionality for signing documents electronically. Business provides the full functionality of the eSign Online platform, adding efficiency and automation through templates and integrations with everyday business tools. Business also gives you the option to buy eID services to authenticate your signatories — an option that is not available on Essentials at all.
