What is the difference between esigning and a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES)
Standard esigning covers Simple and Advanced Electronic Signatures (SES/AES), which are legally valid for the vast majority of business documents. A Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) is the highest level defined by eIDAS, legally equivalent to a handwritten signature and required for specific regulated transactions. Scrive supports all three levels.
