Scrive QES Global
Scrive QES Global is Scrive’s Qualified Electronic Signature solution with the option of a fully browser-based one-shot process, designed to deliver the highest level of legal assurance under eIDAS without the traditional operational complexity.

Qualified electronic signatures made easy
Scrive QES Global enables organisations to issue Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) through a seamless, fully digital flow. The solution is designed for markets where national eID adoption is limited or fragmented, and where traditional QES processes often introduce friction.
Unlike many conventional QES implementations, Scrive QES Global offers a one-shot option that does not require:
- Mandatory app downloads
- Video identification sessions
- Third-party account creation
- Device switching
We just finished testing together with the team in Poland, and everything worked exactly as expected! We tested two scenarios: 1. Someone who had never signed with QES before. 2. Someone who already had an existing MobileID. Both cases went precisely as anticipated and remained consistent with our previous experience. Both I and the team in Poland are very satisfied with Scrive QES Global from a technical perspective."
Qualified Electronic Signature
A Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) is the highest level of electronic signature defined under the EU’s eIDAS regulation.
It is the only type of electronic signature that has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature across all EU member states.
In the event of a legal dispute, a QES benefits from a presumption of validity. This means the burden of proof lies with the party challenging the signature, providing a higher degree of legal certainty for regulated and high-value transactions.
For organisations operating in regulated industries, QES represents the gold standard of digital trust.
How it works
When a signer starts the signing process, they are offered the option to either use a one-shot signature or create a reusable one using either a passkey or Mobile-ID. Regardless of which one the signer chooses, all identification and signing steps take place within a single browser-based session, improving usability while maintaining full compliance.
The signing flow consists of:
ID document scan
A government-issued identity document is securely scanned and verified.
Qualified signature applied
Once identity verification is completed, the Qualified Electronic Signature is issued and attached to the document.

User experience and operational benefits
The fully browser-based flow ensures accessibility while maintaining high assurance levels. By removing traditional QES barriers, Scrive QES Global results in:
Higher completion rates
Reduced signer drop-off
Faster turnaround times
Lower support ticket volumes
