Updated signing page

Scrive is rolling out its updated signing page from November to January 2025. Users will retain all existing functionality while gaining access to an upgraded design and key improvements:

Simplified data entry with an optional easy-to-use input form and choice of language

Added options with multiline text fields and new ways to sign your name

Enhanced mobile responsiveness for smoother signing

Simplified data entry

Make it easier for your signatories on mobile to provide information you need to collect by presenting text & date fields, check boxes, and radio buttons in a single form. Once they complete the form and go to review the document, the fields will be automatically populated with the information.

To activate this option, when preparing your document go to the Settings tab and under Signing page settings turn on Enable form.

To collect information that doesn’t need to be visible in the signed document, add new fields on the Parties tab, but don’t place them in the document on the Document tab.

Multiple ways to sign your name

Stylised typefaces

Not satisfied with how your signature looks when you draw it with a touchscreen or mouse? Just type in your name and choose the handwritten typeface style that expresses you best.

Upload the real thing

Or take a photo of your physical ink-on-paper signature and upload it. We can customise the options for the signature field to tailor the signing solution precisely to your needs.

More free text
Input fields now support multiple lines of free text.

Improved mobile viewing
Zoom in easily when reviewing and signing documents.

Language options
Signatories can choose their language.

Here is what you need to know:

Transition

On December 3rd (Retail eSign app users: January 2025), we will automatically transition all accounts to the updated sign page, retaining current functionality while adding key improvements.

Ongoing communication

We will provide additional updates to ensure a smooth transition and readiness.

Automatic enablement

The update will be enabled automatically; no action is needed on your part. For early testing or activation, please contact your account manager or Scrive support below.
