Most of you reading this will be familiar with at least one form of electronic identification. This may be a national eID like BankID in Sweden and Norway or an independent one like Onfido or Swisscom. Depending on how familiar you are with them, you may not realise how many use cases there are out there for the various eIDs.

When should you use eIDs? For example:

With Swedish BankID, you have the option of showing a “Display Name” during the authentication process, which ensures continuity, clarity and branding throughout the process but also maintains trust with your customers or signing parties.
