Validity
QES eliminates uncertainty about which signature level is required. For example, while the Swedish Companies Act (aktiebolagslagen) specifies that Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES) are required, using QES ensures compliance as it is valid wherever AES or even a simple electronic signature (SES) is accepted.
Predictability
Unlike AES, which may only be confirmed as valid after being tested in court, QES provides assurance upfront. With QES, there’s no room for doubt—it meets the strictest legal requirements from the start.
Validation
AES validation can be complex, with multiple sources of trust and no universal verification method. In contrast, QES relies on a single source for validation, issued by the EU. This makes QES the most reliable choice for businesses operating across borders.
