Empowering seamless eID integration across counselling services
AS3 enhances digital access to its counseling services by integrating secure eID authentication, starting with Denmark’s MitID.
Background
AS3 is a Nordic company delivering specialised career, psychological, and professional counselling services across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. As part of an ambitious digital transformation initiative, AS3 was preparing to launch a native mobile version of its AS3 Portal, an essential platform for job seekers and individuals receiving various forms of counseling.
A key requirement was integrating secure and familiar authentication options for end users. For the Danish market, this meant offering support for MitID, the national digital ID.

While evaluating providers, AS3 prioritised solutions that could be extended across the Nordic region. Scrive stood out due to its Nordic coverage, developer-friendly documentation, and ease of integration.
Solution implementation
Scrive’s eID solution was integrated into AS3’s platform to support login functionality for external users. Implementation was smooth and straightforward, requiring minimal support or training. While internal systems like CRM or ERP were not part of this initial rollout, Scrive was seamlessly embedded into the AS3 Portal, enhancing user accessibility without disrupting existing backend workflows.
Enhanced experience for users
The transition to Scrive’s eID login had a clear impact on customer experience. By introducing MitID through Scrive, AS3 significantly reduced the volume of support tickets related to login issues – most notably password resets, which had previously dominated help desk interactions.
Offering users the option to log in with MitID has proven highly effective, as those who choose this method rarely require support compared to users relying on traditional username and password logins. Seeing as Scrive’s eID Hub is being used by external users (clients and candidates), to access potentially sensitive information, it was vital to ensure secure and user-friendly access to services.
Measurable impact
While AS3 is still quantifying long-term metrics, some early benefits are clear:

- Smoother user journeys for mobile and portal users
- Increased trust and professionalism through secure, national eID integration
Operational cost savings and error reductions are anticipated to grow as Scrive is adopted more widely across AS3’s Nordic operations.
Strategic value and future plans
One of the most significant benefits AS3 has experienced with Scrive is the reliability and simplicity of the MitID integration. The solution has consistently performed without issues, providing immediate value for both the internal team and end users. AS3 sees Scrive not only as a vendor but as a strategic technology partner.
Looking ahead, AS3 is exploring further eID deployments in Norway, Sweden, and Finland. In addition, the company is evaluating Scrive’s document signing API to help automate consent collection processes – a key step in improving service efficiency and compliance.
